Contest Deadlines

September 25th

Please submit the completed form and attach photo(s) of your Cutest Pet entry to jwwaugh@northeast state.edu.

($10 per photo entry)

All submissions and entry fees should be submitted by 11:59pm, Sept. 25th.

​

Contestants can submit early votes. ($1 per vote)

​

Payments can be made via check, CC online, or payroll deduction.

Sept 29th - Oct 6th

Online Voting begins Tuesday, Sept. 29st.  $1 per vote.

All votes must be cast by 

11:59pm, Oct. 6th.

ALL VOTING WILL BE ONLINE THIS YEAR. VOTE ONLINE at www.northeaststate.edu.  A direct link will be provided in email communication and on Facebook.

Feel free to post to your social media accounts to have your friends and family vote for your Cutest Pet entries!

October 9th

The winner voted cutest pet will be announced via email, in the Monday Morning Briefing and at the culmination of the Because of You Campaign.

 

The top 12 winners will have a large photo displayed within the printed Cutest Pets Contest 2021 Calendar.  All Cutest Pet Contest entries will be featured in the calendar.

by October 9th! Calendars will be ready in November.

Contest Rules

  1. Northeast State employees, and students may enter the contest.  Anyone can vote.
  2. Humans cannot be in any photographs submitted.
  3. Multiple pets can be in one photograph.
  4. The pet has to be your pet, a family member's pet, a friend's pet, etc.  It has to be a pet you know.
  5. The top 12 pets receiving the most votes will be featured once a month, beginning January 2021, as the Northeast State - Cutest Pet of the Month.
  6. Late entries or votes will not be accepted.
  7. People with pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge may submit a photo to the contest.  The photo will be voted on just like all other entries, and will be considered equally for the contest prizes including being used as a Pet of the Month if voted into the top 12.
  8. Northeast State retains the non-exclusive right to use any photo submitted for promotional or fundraising purposes.
  9. By submitting your entry(s) into the Cutest Pet Contest, you agree to allow the background alterations or other manipulations, whether through Photoshop or other image manipulating software, for final production and inclusion of your pet in the Pet of the Month.  Wherby the participant acknowledges their submission is voluntary and winner will not receive financial compensation.
  10. The individual, whose entry receives the most votes, will win a Pet Friendly Award.
